Brian Ellsworth



Brian received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Sciences with concentration in Industrial Construction Management at Colorado State University. He is a Licensed Construction Manager in the State of Idaho. Brian’s extensive background includes Estimator, Project Manager and Account Executive.

Brian is very active in the community starting with his role as Chairman of the Board at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area; Board Member at Boise Friends of the Park (Boise River Park) and Board Member at Saint Alphonsus Foundation. He is also involved in the Learning Lab, Idaho Community Foundation and Idaho Humane Society. In his spare time, Brian and his wife, Lana, enjoy spending time with their dog Lucey, boating, water and snow skiing and playing golf.

Tim Hendrix


Project Manager

Tim has a BA from Boise State University in Human Relations. He has over 25 years in the construction arena holding positions as a Framer, Finish Carpenter, Superintendent and his current role as Project Manager. He oversees and manages our First Call jobs, project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance and quality standards. Tim, too, oversees project management, project planning, and time and cost management, quality and safety management. Tim has a Son and Daughter and is an avid cycler and alpine skier.

Brandon McCurdy


Project Manager

Brandon has a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management from Boise State University. He has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry holding positions as a Concrete Formwork/Finisher, Carpenter, Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. As a result of his experience in different levels of construction, Brandon is well versed in managing the overall execution of construction management responsibilities, which includes contract administration, cost estimates and proposals, budget formulization, scheduling, project planning, time and cost management, as well as quality and safety control. Brandon enjoys snow skiing, golfing, hiking and camping with his wife and 3 kids.


Project Manager

Brayden Sielaff has his Backelor’s Degree from Boise State University.  He has worked in the construction industry in Boise all his career in Commercial and Residential.  He has served as an Owner, Project Manager, Estimator, Superintendent and is a qualified tradesman.  Brayden has taught the OSHA 10 and 30-hour classes.

Terra Hill


Accountant & Office Manager

Terra obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, after getting her first taste of corporate life in 2003.  She knew she wanted to be a part of a company/team and do and be a part of great things.  From there, she worked her way up from administration to management.  She enjoys being a part of all aspects of business operations.  The construction industry has appealed to her need for multi-tasking and opportunities for knowledge.  Terra cuurently handles bookkeeping functions such as payroll, customer invoicing, lien waivers, etc. for EKC, Inc.  We are excited to have her enthusiasm for excellence on our team.

In Terra’s free time, you can find her trying to drag or talk her 2 kids, family, and friends into going on a new adventure.  If we can’t find her, go see if she’s at Lake Lowell with her fishing pole.

Lana Ellsworth


Special Projects Administrator

Lana joined EKC in 2017 as the Special Projects Administrator after a long-time career with Idacorp Financial, an Idaho Power Subsidiary.  Lana started managing office operations for Idacorp Financial in 1999 and became an Asset Analyst in 2002 until the subsidiary dissolved in 2014.

In addition to Lana’s Special Projects, she is also responsible for managing EKC’s website and Social Media.

In Lana’s spare time, she’s an Airstream enthusiast going on adventures backpacking, biking, boating and snow skiing with her husband Brian, and their beloved yellow lab Lucey.  She also loves to spend time with her family and traveling to visit family and friends.



Charlene is EKC’s Accounts Payable Administrator and is also responsible for dispersing Subcontractor payments.  In addition, she is the Bookkeeper for First Call, LLC, a long-time subsidiary of EKC.  On January 1st, 2018, First Call separated from EKC and became a stand-alone entity.  EKC and First Call continue to work side by side to bring total coverage to both large and small construction projects.

Whenever possible, Charlene likes to spend time on the Oregon coast taking in the magnificence of the ocean and its’ many moods.  Idaho’s many beautiful rivers serve as a good substitute when the coast is just out of reach.  Charlene enjoys getting together with her NAWIC sisters though she is no longer a member.  She loves spending time with her son and grandson, and traveling to visit other family members.

EKC Team - Johnnie Rowe


Contract Administrator

Johnnie Rowe joined EKC as a CWI Intern and graduated in December 2019 with an Associates degree in Business Management.  She brings Customer Service experience and a vibrant positive outlook to her role at EKC.  Johnnie is excited to broaden her knowledge in the Construction Industry and begin her career.  She is also Certified in QuickBooks and all Microsoft programs.  Johnnie is a mom and family is very important to her.  She also enjoys crafts and outdoor activities.


Bill Tonkin



With more than three decades as a Commercial Construction Superintendent, Bill Tonkin has joined the EKC Construction team sharing his respected experience in safety compliance, cost control and material management. Tonkin, a Certified Master Carpenter, brings a well-rounded skill set with first-rate problem solving and communication to lead and manage construction projects and resolve any issues promptly. His portfolio of completed commercial projects in the medical, office, retail, and multi-family arena are represented in Idaho, California, and Alaska. When not in the field, Tonkin enjoys fly fishing, upland bird hunting, white water rafting, and motocross.



Jim Hibbard has more than two decades of Commercial Construction experience as a Project Manager, Estimator and Superintendent.  He joined the EKC Construction team sharing his respected experience in safety compliance, cost control and material management.  Hibbard brings a well rounded skill set with first rate problem solving and communication to lead and manage construction projects and resolve any issues promptly.  His portfolio of completed commercial projects in the office, retail and earth moving arena are well represented in Idaho.

When Hibbard is not in the field, he enjoys fishing, hunting and spending a lot of time with his Grandson, Lane.

EKC TEAM - Dale Pipkin



Over the years, Dale Pipkin has worked on a wide range of projects for EKC Inc.  Dale brings EKC a lifelong knowledge of construction projects from Taco Bars to Mid Rise Buildings.  Dale is a family man and enjoys any outdoor activity especially Drag Boat racing.  He loves to take fishing trips to Mexico and hunting trips in Idaho.



Jon started his construction career in his teens while working for a family member’s general contracting company.  What began as a college academic pursuit into architecture, ultimately resulted in a degree in construction management.  Throughout his career, he has worked in the field, as well as, the office, learning all aspects of the industry.  From a tradesman to journeyman acoustical carpenter/framer, master craftsman, to foreman, superintendent, estimator, and project manager.  Jon received his PMP Certification in 2011.  He is a people person and loves to see our client’s desires and goals met.  Jon has a passion for the industry and views it as a big kid playground; “Let’s have fun building!”
